Client website steals top-spot in Google (SEO)
29th November 2009One of my client websites has had a lot of success in Google lately maintaining a steady first page position for the past few months, and has recently jumped to the top of the pile on the organic listings for the term "Nottingham Marketing". This has been acheived primarily through clean semantic coding and considered use of keywords.

Over the last couple of weeks I have been developing a logo identity for a business in America who specailise in creating Math and Algebra work books to assist young students outside of their normal education.
The above images are a couple of logo variants I produced within Adobe Illustrator based on one of the concepts I put forward.

Fun and seasonal firework flier
One more reason I look forward to Autumn. Earlier this month I headed down to the Nottingham Goose Fair with the intention of soaking up some of that electricity. The start of November will again see the Forest Fields glow bright with Bonfire Night along side its' dazzling annual firework display.
This flier was created in Photoshop using some of the imagery I came back with previously. (see below)

I created this logo with the intention of using it to front my freelance design services. However it is now unlikely to come into use having instead decided to opt for a more personable business image.
